Internet APEXlang template sources

The source inventory was checked on 2026-10-11 and refreshed on 2026-10-14 and 2026-10-15 using web discovery, GitHub repository and code search, live GitHub recursive trees, immutable source archives and license text. It covers Oracle APEXlang .apx sources. Source counts describe files and applications, not independently verified ready components.

Scope and verification

• Oracle APEX 26.2 contributes 33 complete source applications, 2,961 .apx files and 1,506 page files at one pinned commit. The page reference intake selects 1,350 page files with page numbers greater than 0 and less than 9999. This numerical filter excludes global pages and high-numbered pages; it does not by itself identify every login, administration or scaffolding page.
• The Oracle skills repository contains 456 .apx files across its 26.1 and 26.2 example applications and scaffold. Its three 26.2 example applications contain 242 .apx files, including 94 page files. Versioned copies and scaffold duplicates are not additional unique templates.
• Seventeen licensed community candidates were inspected separately: seven on 2026-10-11 and ten more on 2026-10-14. They are discovery candidates, not automatically accepted ready recipes. Parser fixtures, intentional fault laboratories, duplicated vendor scaffolds and unlicensed sources are not treated as ready components.
• Public source inspection confirms file identity, declared metadata and license. It does not confirm Oracle compilation, schema availability, an error-free server import or browser behavior. A copied page often depends on the rest of its original application.

The Oracle page intake is a reference corpus. A recipe becomes ready only after its dependency closure, adaptation contract and required compiler checks are recorded in the recipe registry. Catalog inclusion must retain this distinction.

Official Oracle APEX applications

Repository: oracle/apex, pinned 26.2 source. All 33 application metadata files declare mmdVersion: 26.2.0+3479. The application sources are licensed under UPL-1.0. Preserve the Oracle copyright and license notice when redistributing source or adapted substantial portions. Review applicable third-party notices before copying JavaScript libraries, images, fonts or other supporting assets.

Each application link below opens its complete APEXlang source directory at the pinned commit. “Selected” is the numerical page filter described above. Topic labels summarize source names and structure; they are not runtime verification claims.

Universal Theme Reference and UX Pattern Catalog overlap with the existing component and pattern source families. Their page sources provide additional reference detail; counting every page as a new ready recipe would overstate the expansion.

Dependencies and adaptation

The full application payloads total 49,883,949 uncompressed bytes. Many examples use EBA_DEMO_* tables, supporting SQL packages, shared LOVs, breadcrumbs, authorization schemes, plug-ins, static files or external REST endpoints. Charts, reports and maps may require database features or seeded sample data. Some sample pages perform writes, reset sample data, or change authentication behavior. Source inclusion is not authorization to run those actions or install supporting objects.

For a reusable recipe: preserve provenance and license; choose the actual component rather than a navigation-only sample page; resolve shared references; replace sample-schema SQL with a documented synthetic projection or explicit project data contract; preserve the destination authentication; and run the required Oracle compiler checks. Import and browser evidence remain separate. Do not remove source-declared MMD requirements or silently claim 26.1 compatibility for 26.2 examples.

A useful dependency-light extraction candidate is Dynamic Actions: Debounce and Throttle. Its interaction is client-side, but breadcrumb and authorization references still require adaptation. Most richer reporting, card and chart examples require their source data contract.

2026-11-01 refresh

The oracle/apex 26.2 branch moved from the pinned commit to 244dd3691fa5c2897a069fc912b149b9c2853679. It adds three UPL-1.0 sample applications (85 new .apx files) and changes six UX Pattern Catalog files. Page counts include global and login pages:

The main branch now publishes release downloads instead of .apx trees, and oracle/skills is unchanged at 014cdb29f12dfa6a689bbe8a80ee1c5f0bf15be1. The 1,350-page public reference library stays pinned to the earlier commit; the new applications are not imported as reference pages. Twenty-six compiler-checked recipes are adapted from this commit (Sample Charts, Sample Maps, Sample Dynamic Actions and the three new applications), and 67 more from the oracle/skills 26.1 generation templates. Each recipe records its single upstream path and SHA-256.

Official Oracle skills examples

Repository: oracle/skills, pinned source, UPL-1.0 license. Current source is organized under apex/apexlang/26.1 and apex/apexlang/26.2. Search-engine results referring to the former unversioned apex/apexlang/templates path can be stale.

The 26.1 generation package also contains Markdown template contracts for page layouts, regions, items, buttons, business logic and shared components. They are useful reference examples, but Markdown contract files are not counted as executable .apx files.

Community sources reviewed

The repositories below expose actual .apx source files and verified license text at the listed revisions. The first seven were reviewed on 2026-10-11 and were unchanged on 2026-10-14; the remaining ten were added on 2026-10-14. All ten new candidates declare 26.1 metadata and contain some files byte-identical to Oracle sources (generated shared components and scaffold files). Each link is pinned. Counts may include multiple snapshots, blueprints or experiments; they are not counts of unique production-ready components.

No community source is claimed to have passed this repository’s compiler, import or browser checks solely because its author reports successful operation. Preserve each author’s license notice if a later recipe includes their source.

Exclusions and search limits

The GitHub repository search for apexlang returned 47 repositories on 2026-10-11 and 48 on 2026-10-14. On 2026-10-14 a code search for .apex/apexlang.json files declaring mmdVersion added repositories whose names do not mention APEXlang. On 2026-10-14 and 2026-10-15 the Oracle 26.2 branch and oracle/skills main still matched the pinned commits above. The 2026-10-15 recheck found no new licensed source with original .apx application content. Search results were screened for actual Oracle .apx files and redistribution terms. The search is not a claim of an exhaustive internet inventory.

Raw GitHub trees, archive digests, per-page listings and source inspection results belong in ignored docs/evidence/internet-templates/. This document is the maintained source-selection reference; generated research evidence is not part of the public package.
